This property has been renovated after the Septembre 2024 flood. Nestled in the charming small town of Crystal River, Ruba's River Retreat (3Rs) is named for my mother, offers an ideal balance of relaxation and fun. 3Rs is closely located to the best of Central Florida: Hunter Springs Park and Three Sisters Springs are two local favorites. Bring your boat – spend your time fishing, scalloping, or day out boating. Bring your kayak - or use ours. Launch directly from the dock at the house. Make it a low-key visit and spend your time splashing in the private pool, tanning in the backyard, lounging on the swing bed, playing games such as Cornhole, or preparing a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The home was perfect for our friends and us well-stocked kitchen with a great coffee bar, the pool was refreshing after being in saltwater all day, and the home was very clean. The canal to the main river takes about 1/2 hour to meander, but we enjoyed the time in nature. We brought the jet ski and boat and loved the dock. Went scalloping and had the perfect weather and weekend on the water. House was stocked with soap and other extra things which is nice. A bit of rules that did stress us out a bit from the host. She cares about the place deeply!! The pool has rock pebbles all around it. Strick rules on finding pebbles in the pool but we first arrived there were some in the pool. I’m thinking the wind may take them in… every day id look and take some out. We tried our best to follow all the rules…The neighbors were so sweet and friendly. Offered us a vacuum to help with the cleaning of the scallops and offered to flay our fish at there fish station. Also, little gator hangs out by the dock too.

This home was beautiful! Our host was great, very accommodating. This house came well equipped for an enjoyable trip. The canal was close to a boat ramp which was super convenient. We would definitely book here again!

The house was awesome! My family and I enjoyed our little vacation and it was everything that I imagined it to be. Sandra was a great host and was so easy to get in touch with if I had any questions. Her home is fully equipped with everything imaginable, all you need is yourself and a suitcase. If you need groceries, you have plenty of shopping stores near by and a very cute town and springs to enjoy with the family. One of our favorite experiences was having the little manatee family hangout in the river behind the house, mom, dad and baby manatee all swimming together right there. We highly recommend staying here, you will not have any regrets at all. We look for to another stay.

This is an excellent place to stay! The home is beautiful. The kayaks, pool, back porch, and fire pit make for a great time just staying at home. It’s also conveniently located to all of the amazing springs and rivers in the area and for a day trip to Tampa. We stayed here as a couple, but it would have also been a great place for a few couples or a family. 100% recommend!

The home was very welcoming. There are even doggie treats in the foyer as you walk in. Sandra has everything you would need. She is wonderful about responding. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept on in a rental. The mattress was just right and they have down comforters and pillows. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything. We loved the Espresso machine! So yummy! It is quiet on the end of a canal. We did not use the kayaks but did use the pool. We rented kayaks at Kings Bay so we could go to the springs. It really was a wonderful vacation. Thank you Sandra!

This was one of my favorite Airbnbs we've stay in. Sandra provided everything you would need during your stay. The area was good for us because we enjoy kayaking and we could get in the water from the back yard. The pool was also nice. The house was very clean and up to date.

Sandra’s place was a great place for my teenage son and his friend. They loved the fact that they could go kayaking and fishing off the dock any time. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed and more to cook during our stay. All of the springs that we wanted to visit were close by. This was our second trip to Crystal River and we just simply love it. Any questions or concerns were addressed immediately by Sandra and she was a wonderful host.

My husband and I had the greatest vacation at this airbnb! We were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was. We are foodies and clearly Sandra, the host, is too. The pool was an added bonus and was literally used everyday. The screened in lanai was wonderful! The swing, the oversized Blinko and Jenga games were family favorites! One of the  main reasons we chose this Aibnb was the floating dock on the canal behind the house. We trailered our deck boat from Tampa so we could enjoy swimming in the crystal springs and fishing. Launching the boat near Pete's Pier was easy and driving down the river was a delight. All in all, I would say it was one of our favorite summer "staycations" ever!
